Hi there everyone,
I'm looking for a bit of help and advice. I've just bought 1971 Tramp Roadster beach buggy and I'm looking for a soft top or a hard top for the great British winter ( and summer! ). Does any one know who to go to. I've tried a few different places but with no luck. Be very grateful for any help. Many thanks.

Worth considering just a bikini top that stretches from the screen to the rollbar and then hooks down to the back, often with a "tail" to each corner.  That is all you need to make it useable if you add some drain holes in the floor and it will keep the cost to a minimum.

I have a full mohair roof and while it is quite nice being able to have the whole roof on I never drive with the side panels on as I cant see and everything steams up, I usually take the back bit off as well so I just have the bit covering the front.  You stay reasonable dry and if luggage is wrapped in a tarp then all is good, the tarp then doubles as a car cover if you need it.

Just an option if cash is tight as you will be shocked at the price of a full roof but there is a huge amount of labour involved.

Dave.... yes... remember my 1974 buggy steaming up and drips running down the plastic side windows. especially when two people were in it. Had a zip out rear window which helped with this problem. Guess it`s not California over here  ;D  It`s so long ago and was my daily transport to work and back and anywhere else I used to go but I cannot recall it ever bothering me. Young and daft comes to mind  ;-)up ;-)up
