Oooh Aaar a MantaRay and in very smart looking condition - new even.

When push comes to shove (yes I know - quite often in a buggy !) I do infinitely prefer yellow to orange but thank God buggy owners aren't all alike in tastes !

Grin - I like yellow and orange.  Less keen on Orange for a VW Bus but lovely on a buggy.

I am told its a mark 3?  Though not 100% sure.  It was built around 2006 and doesn't seem to have seen much action.  I really would like to get some ideas around seats as mine really need to go further back, do you have pics of your buggy I can see?  Also wondering if easy to replace the brake pedal assembly with something shorter. (again do you have any pictures of yours?)

JUst looking at the rollbar running to the windscreen- WTF - that is of no use what so ever- maybe if you cut it from the main hoop you could then lean that towards the back of the buggy to allow the seats to also go further back - just an idea- cool looking buggy thou

That was my first impression - why on earth the bar attaches to the windscreen - lol

I might try looking at different seats entirely (and fit some runners at the same time) - so many questions 

Only benefit of that bit of rollbar is to support the screen, but really odd

Lovely looking Buggy other than that. Now the work starts to make it your own

Mazda MX 5 seats would fit - Gary (Big GP) has always got some for sale - we think he collects them.

Andy you'll have to listen to those wise and informed members on this forum about pedal possibilities. I think mine are standard and so not what you're looking for:



My MantaRay has certainly seen some action under my watch - that's why it's engine is presently in all its bits between Snoopys garden shed and my garage. The body work is cracked, dented and abraded and a Mark II. Hence I had many issues with front tyres rubbing on the lights resulting in me fitting (Hunter's advice) small American lights.

She's got bags of personality but unlike yours isn't in the show & shine category.

Don't be fooled by the camera's flattering glossing over of the paintwork.

Thanks for replies and pics folks. I can see that my pedals are much higher, so will investigate looking into a different part.

I think I will start with relocating seats so they get further back. Maybe some cobreau? Or prep.  Must do some research.

You will find everything you need in this forum it's really helpful

But also being in Surrey I know the southern lot meet up in you're area you should go along that way you can get so many ideas from seeing what other people have done and of course a wealth of knowledge
