Getting nearer to biting the bullet and ordering a rebuilt solex from machine seven, as flat spot still there , although loads better, but still enough to take the edge off the driving experience. Before i do tho, thought i would ask if anyone on here has one that they replaced with twins and would consider selling ? Or can suggest any thing else to try before i spend 385 quid 😖 Thanks.

Why don't you send your carb to the cog box for a rebuild.
He runs them up on a similar spec motor to the customers before sending back.
