Beach Buggy General Help / Re: Fire safety stick
May 31, 2023, 10:05:56 PM
hi folks,

For those at the kit car show this weekend, I won't be there but one of our approved distributors will be there selling them. They will be at a decent show price so it might be worth picking them up from there if you need to, if not take advantage of the link above.

Hi Folks,

Sorry was out all day yesterday. If you follow this link it will automatically give you 15% discount on your purchase (from RRP). Also worth checking out multiple packs if you want one for the home/caravan/motorhome etc.

I'll talk to Dave about updating yet the banner ad (That one is from when we first launched in early 2019) ;-)up

(NB although we also have them on Amazon/ebay we have purposely put the price above RRP to encourage more sales to our distributors)
Some may ask about the FSS25 (25 seconds - these were discontinued by the manufacturer in 2019 because there wasn't the worldwide market for them.

Any questions, just let me know  ;-)up :)

Hi guys. I'm out now but will set a new one up for you all and post on here later on. 👍🏻

lol,
Nope that was one issue, but it pumping fuel out when he started was more of a concern!

It was a lost fuel filter at the front and so he managed to cut pipe and re-connect one piece back to the tank, sealing with one of the jubilee clips.

So as it turns out me nit having a buggy this year meant I became part of the support services in several ways over the weekend!

Great weekend everyone - fantastic to seen so many family faces. I will try to upload a few video clips to YouTube later on. I've already posted the actual parade coverage to the Facebook page, but will add that to YouTube too.

Hope the chap with the Corvair engine sidewinder (I think it was?) got home alright after his "incident" on the M3/M25 junction. Happy to help with a knife and screw driver to keep him going even with a broken front suspension/steering set up.

Sorry you and Lisa can't make this year Dave.  :'(

Meanwhile, flags, I'll gladly pay £15 for Sunday breakfast! That'll be two portions for me please - love a Swanage breakfast!  ;-)up

Looking forward to being back at Swanage with the old crowd again!

Sadly I won't be in my buggy (daily car instead). So if there is a chance of bagsying a spare seat in a buggy for the Saturday cruise that would be great, please!!!
(For the Sunday parade, I will be in town filming the drive-by so wont needed one then) :) Thanks all

Any plans for Saturday night?  I'm going to be getting there sometime in the afternoon. Warning though, I might need a volunteer to help doing a quick set up in Hall 1.  ;-)up

Looking forward to seeing you all. I'll be in Hall 1 all weekend flogging those magic sticks of fire safety! Make sure you pop in to say hi. Not sure whether staying locally or cruising out for a meal - depends on the boss.

Yet another Swanage missed here :(

But I reckon before you head home, despite the end of the beach road being closed, you should still do the carnival route early Sunday afternoon if you can. If you do, post it on the Swanage Facebook page

The other reason for no windscreen at test was that you would also need a de-misting system fitted as well.

Beach Buggy IVA / SVA Help / Re: V5 Description

Mine says saloon, and no issues so far. Its a risk of course, but the chances of it being an issue are very slim indeed. In its current state it wouldn't pass an SVA/IVA but you could "temporary" adapt it may be to get it though but personally wouldn't bother.

Flatlands had a reputation for building the best quality buggies and if it is LilBoys old one, then it is one of the best. I know many of us would think that's a lot of money for a buggy BUT if its still in as good a condition as it appears, and its still got Dan Simpsons engine, then IMHO its worth every penny of £15,000 :)
