Quote from: mk4buggy on July 21, 2026, 07:44:45 PMThere was a quiz planned for Fri, but this was when we were at the football club, so it maybe flexible, best ask Matt/Sian as they have organised it

Yes we have a "Field Quiz" organised and mark sheets for 10 teams. No fancy bells and whistles but it will be fun. Sian is quizmaster again. Happy to do it either Friday or Saturday, flexible either way.

Would anyone like to order a Swanage Carnival T-shirt to collect from me at the Camping site on Friday/Saturday?
£15 each.

Thanks for organising this Mark. The proposed site looks great. Think we need to start a new list of those still interested in going?
How/when is the latest they need payment and how will that work. Pay you, or individually with some Buggy related reference code?

Mark & Sue Thurs- Mon Tent Buggy
Keith and Vicky buggy  B&B
Dave and Gail buggy  B&B
 Alan and Vanessa buggies B&B
Hugh buggy B&B
Gav and buggy - Camping off site (likely)
Hunter and Carole Thurs/Mon In the caravan
Matt & Sian Thurs - Mon. Camper, awning, buggy etc

For the Quiz on Friday night, we have a buzzer round. I have 8 buzzers but depending on numbers, that might not be enough.
Could I ask, if you are wanting to join in the quiz and you have a buzzer, or a musical instrument! Please can you bring it so you can make yourself heard. Many thanks.

A quick update on Swanage weekend Thu 29th Jul to Mon 2nd Aug.
So far the Carnival is planned to go ahead with a confirmation in late spring.
The football club has been closed for the best part of a year and needs to be recommissioned before it can be used and as we know it was already a little on the rough and ready side of 5* but Mark (the club house manager) reckons it should be done.
So as with every other event scheduled for 2021 this is provisional.
If you're interested we may as well start a list.

Sorry to hear this Dave, hope it all goes well.
If Ruben needs anywhere to pitch before the Carnival I should be able to sort something out.

Any space left on the pitch Flags? If so can iI have a spot for the Saturday night?
Cheers
Matt
