Got the buggy on the road at last, but the front suspension is too hard.  I have been advised to remove six small leaves from the top and bottom of the front beam.  Has anyone done this? Is six of each too many? Can this be done by only taking off one side of suspension and pulling them through?
I have standard shock absorbers at present.  Can anyone also recommend the best front tyre pressures?

Thanks it has been a long time coming.  I will take some photos of the bumper mounts when I am next home in daylight.  They are the original supplied ones but I cut them to move the bumper nearer to the bonnet before welding
  I still need to fettle the front indicators so they sit right!
The wheel is 13.5 inches diameter
