Thanks David, yes, a larger limbo dancer, who installed a 9 inch steering wheel to assist access, I guess, as it's not much use for steering 😆

Deb, Hi!
We're the other side of Aber, near The Clytha Arms, so it's pretty inevitable our paths must cross 🙂

Thanks!
It's not unlike the TVR (been there, done that) experience so far:
Day one
Number plate falls off
Wing mirror bolt loosens, inverting stalk.
Rear view mirror ditto
Hot start issue
Intermittent air/fuel starvation (009 installed)
Brakes? What brakes?

Thanks Hugh 👍
Monmouthshire- not really into meets, but will possibly hit Bristol/south wales events - if the stars align on the day...
I thinks it has spent time somewhere between Leicestershire and Yorkshire, looking over the last 5yrs MOT locations..
Photo portfolio and video on collecting cars.com, search Beach Buggy or Lot# 18887. That's all this year though. The interior and wheels were changed recently, I think it was likely black interior before.
No idea on what to expect of output/performance, based on the spec I was given:
AD engine code (type 2 1600)
1641cc
Twin solex (34s i think)
Scat lifters
Stainless pushrod tubes
Engle 110 road cam
009 Distributor
Flamethrower ignition
Otherwise,
200mm clutch & flywheel
IRS
Adjustable front beam, polybushed
Bug Pack front dampers.
Brakes are crap at first acquaintance, but it may be I'm not pressing hard enough, still feeling my way into it.

Hello all!
Just been out for my first drive
Wasn't forewarned by the seller of the hot start issue, but good to know (hope) that's all it is..
The seller only bought it in December 2022, he changed the wheels, added cream vinyl cobra seats, tacho and shift light, improved gear linkage.
I mention it as I'm keen to learn any history/knowledge of the vehicle. Elements suggest it was a high-end build (2007) and I have little idea of the tune.
Anyone recognise it by exterior colour and reg number?
Cheers, Lin
