I used the standard outer bearings and replaced the inner bush with Delrin. It is self lubricating so if by some reason it was a bit dry it would not damage your torsion arm bearing surface. I have not heard great things about the urethane bushes.  The inner bushes that came out of mine were trashed and they were tight to get out. Big bar with a duplex end and a lump hammer.

I'll be sorting the clutch too. That needs a bit of work, who uses 7mm now days. I was thinking of modifying the  wing nut or I'll make a new stud to fit.

Hel performance brake lines to match the front.


Hard brake lines and handbrake cables in, just need to finish up the cable shortening buckles.


Revolution J10's for the rear. Spent a long time cleaning over spray off the tyre sidewalls. They will be refurbished before the project is complete.

Got the rear wheels on, just a test as I am waiting on some parts.




Working on a improved cable shortening kit over the rubbish Empi stuff. Clutch cable will be done too but needs a piece made first. These things grip so hard they will never slip. Stainless and once finished should look much tidier.

Flags, do they fit in the recess? Tried to find dimensions but no luck. Is it front bump stops for a classic mini I need?

Hey guys, rear bump stops when lowered. I know you can cut them down but does anyone know if the front bump stops off a link pin will push over the ends (mushroom/nipple etc) of the rear swing axle bracket. I could be a much neater solution.

Not at all. I appreciate all input and questions. I have got stuff wrong and people have said so. It means I can put it right now. Saying nothing never helps.

They did come out nicely. The welder used is a serious piece of kit so it should be good.
