I have gone with the CTEK MXS 5.0 and it is on the buggy now just doing an initial check and charge before my MOT tomorrow!

To answer a point... I would drive it regularly but work/kids often make that impractical and i want to know it is there ready as and when i want it.

I wondered if anyone has experience and can recommend a battery trickle charger/conditioner etc which i can plug my buggy into (and leave plugged in) while it is asleep in the garage to make sure the battery is in tip top condition for when i want to drive it about.

They are not wide 5. they are 4 stud. the drums are wider than standard beetle drums so they offer better braking. I was told on buggies this means the fronts are less likely to lock up and hence why they are a good option while keeping things reasonably standard (bolt pattern, cheap easy to find spares, etc). Pair of axles for sale. bought to do a IRS buggy project that never happened.
Been dry stored but for a while so will need refurbishing.
Based near Diss on Norfolk/Suffolk border.
I am not sure what they may be worth but as i need to put a price i will start at £200 for the pair.

Have to confess i looked at this and then didn't think it suitable for me based on the amount of potential work required to make sure it was safe to kart the kids around in... but love the look of it!

That was the grey Doon wasn't it. yes cheap but had i bid would it have gone up by loads? it's always the question with Ebay! Had i bid would i have had to bid twice that to win it?? 

Thanks for the steer Dave but it doesn't really grab me unfortunately. it does tick the rear seat box and few others as well.

Indeed i hope they put it on the road as well! I just know that i couldn't have put the time in to build it properly. So that's why i need a Bounty Hunter that is done or nearly so!!! 

I am selling a shell as i don't have time space etc to do it myself but i would like a complete buggy i can drive straight away!
And i suppose they do look similar which shows my tastes don't vary too much!
To be honest i don't feel as i will get a buggy as i have too much other stuff going on but doesn't stop the dreaming!!
So someone has bid on the ebay auction so it will sell!
Just clearing out all the old stuff also as i will be loosing both my garages soon due to a change in owner! so have to consolidate!
