Title: 32 yr old project nearly done
Post by: Zip Buggy on September 08, 2016, 03:26:08 PM
Hello fellow buggy'ers (well its better than leaving the "Y" out). I've been looking for a Bug forum for a while and glad to have found this one. I started my Bug in 1984ish and there's a danger I might be about to put it on the road. I have a LWB Fibre Fab bug in Black metal flake - how 60's is that! Engine, built by Andy Storer in the late 80's, is basically a Formula Super V. Just adding twin 40 IDF's and electric fuel pump+reg and it should be ready to go. Will post pics soon.

Welcome aboard mate

Looking forward to the pictures, and if you have been building since 1984, then you should have some great material for a Build thread on here   :D

Sounds exciting and hopefully by posting on this forum you now have to get the buggy fully onto the road for us all to see and marvel at.

Welcome indeed.   32 years makes me look like a pro, it only took me 12. Looking forward to you photos.

Thank you for all the welcome messages. So pleased to have found a Bug community alive and kicking! I'll try and put a pic or two on this weekend - even though it's not quite finished.
