I am about to finish the wiring on the latest buggy Scarlet and have a couple of questions.
Q1 When fitting a rev counter, the feed comes from the coil but from which terminal + or -?
Q2 The buggy is being fitted with mazda RX8 seats which are both heated. I am looking at fitting savage momentary non latching wired with a timer relay. Is this the correct way to wire or does the relay need a constant feed from the push switch (latching) or do the relays work from a single input from the switch? I get the fact that the relay is powered when ignition is live and the switch activates the relay to power the seats bit.
Also if anyone is trying to figure out what wires do what on the seats the light green and white are for the airbag which went off this afternoon ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Have not seen many birds around for a while ;D ;D ;D ;D

Negative on the coil for the rev counter mate, not a clue on other Q.

Dangerous things air bag cylinders at least you survived ok. As for the relay going by normal rules the relay will have an ignition switched live power feed and then and ignition switched feed off the function switch to start the cycle to run the heaters for a set time off the relay or you have a non timer fely and something in the system to control the temperature rather than just a set time duration at full temp.
Guessing a mazda site would give info on the seat system.
