Those wanting to stay th enight at the same place we are then:

If you are in this area today, then I could really do with some help and support. If you have any official contacts that may be of use, then please let me know. If you know anyone in the local groups of the Breast cancer Care or Cancer Research Charities that we are supporting, Newspapers, Local media, local radio, Mayors, anyone official that is up for a photo shoot, or even rent-a-crowd to cheer us on, then can you get them to the piers for our photo shoots? If you have a Buggy and want to join us for todays cruise, then we would love to have you on board, the more the merrier.
Obviously, you can see that with what we are trying to accomplish, it does mean that we are very limited on time, so any drinks or refreshments that you can pass in the direction of the team would be very much appreciated, and silly things like pointing out where the nearest toilet stops are can really save us a lot of time.
Hopefully we will not need any, but it would be useful to know if anyone has any workshop facilities or tools nearby in case of emergency repairs.
And finally, its all about the money - every single penny counts, and it could be that one penny that makes the difference
So please, if you have not yet done so, then please click here:

Look forward to cruising with you
Count me in for this leg, probably pick you up somewhere between Kings Lynn & Cromer once approx times are known
And you did ask so - there is a scruffy toilet on the RHS of the A12 south of Lowestoft :o
And you know I will be there for this leg. Will meet you all at Cleethorpes, but will drive back down to my mums in Skeggy that evening so will join the convoy as you approach Skeggy in the morning. Ideally am going to tag along for a couple of days if I can. ;-)up
Thanks guys,
that will be awesome.
I am willing to make sure you have a drink and hot donuts ready for you if you want a quick stop in hunstanton I can also speak to the council so you can park next to the pier amusement the original site of our pier before it got washed away I can speak to town mayor and newsletter and find out about local cancer charity I'm also sure my company can afford to fill a couple of large jerry cans of fuel for your 2 cars if u would like me to see if I can arrange this please can you email me the pier pressure criteria to stephen.johnson16@tiscali.co.uk so I can show necessary people and if I can get a couple of hours off I will join u to cromer if there is anything else u would like I can only but try to help you
Wow Stephen thats amazing thank you and I will always detour for donuts ;-)up Tea no sugar by the way for all three of us.
All the information we have is on our website at www.pierpressure2016.co.uk. Explains what we are doing, the route, all about us and the two cars etc but if you need any more info for teh local council then please shout.
As for the offer for fuel that is amazing too thank you.
Will be really great to meet up and if you can get time off to cruise, even better.
Chad
Hi Chad
Sorry I didn't catch up with you at Stoneleigh, you are always talking to someone! Not being a big user of the forum I have not been aware of the plight you and your family have gone through.. I am pleased everything is starting to look up for you all. What you are doing is a great idea of raising money with a bit of enjoyment thrown in.... We were booked to go away on our holidays while you are in our home county, but having lost both my parents to the "Big C" in the last 2 years, We have postponed our break to offer our support... So if you will have us we would love to join you for the East Coast stretch from Cleethorpes onwards .... If I can help with any local knowledge / provisions you are requesting I will assist where I can.
Cheers
Simon, Jo and the kids
I'll be looking to meet you at Cromer and drive to GY with you. I'm by Norwich airport so you'll nearly pass my house going to GY ;-)up
Hi Simon. I kept meaning to chat to but don't know where the time went.
Please come along and join the Cruise Against Cancer
Amazing you are delaying you holiday to join I'm, much appreciated. Sorry to hear about your folks. I lost my mom to ovarian cancer and Ruth lost her dad to throat cancer. In fact the day we finish is the fifth anniversary of her dad's passing.
Local knowledge is brilliant.
When I get back from Germany I will start posting much more detailed maps and schedules for each day so people can't have a look and give advise. Best chip shops etc is always good to know ;-)
And Mr Stunt. Will be great to meet up. Always happy to see another green buggy :D
Really wanted to join you on this leg of the journey but it looks like I get to endure a horrible week at work instead. Best of luck down the east coast ;-)up
Hi Chad do you have your detailed itinerary for this day and the next?
Yes mate, working on them.
I had them done and my saved programme got corrupted. Then with Ruth in for another op a couple of weeks ago and my engine drama, I didn't find time.
But done most of them last night and will finish and post the remaining plans, itinerary later today.
;-)up No worries, it's a pain when technology lets you down (be it old or new)
Hi Chad I think I've sorted the major to have a picture with you and buggies our local town news letter and Lynn news are going to do a piece and I've got cover at work so I'm going to head to Kings Lynn for 9.30 and park in a lay-by just after qe hospital when we get to hunstanton if we can pull in to testosterone garage I will put £20 of fuel in both cars we can then park on the green in front of the pier amusements for pic with major and I've got someone sorting out tea and donuts then I will join you round the coast to Cromer then must get back to work will be good to finally meet you
Hi Stephen, Thats amazing thank you.
We have planned a bit of time for a stop for tea and doughnuts, so thats great ;-)up ;D
And thanks for getting some news coverage too, really appreciate that too.
See you in just over a week 8)
Chad
Chad
just spoken to a reporter at the Ipswich Star who is going to try to get a photographer to Southwold &/or Felixstowe, I bcc'd the mail I sent to you
He has my number for any progress reports so wont be bothering you
Dave
Dave thats brilliant buddy, thank you.
Hi Chad,
A couple of us from East Midlands Buggy Club should join you in Skegness (if we can find the Morrisons petrol station) and cruise with you as far as Cromer if thats ok...at least we get to one pier anyway ;-)up and all the best for the rest of the journey too.
See you tuesday !!
Cheers,
Myles.
Will be good to see you.
You can't miss the morrisons petrol station, its as you come in to town from the boston road (on the right side as traffic starts to queue up) I should warn you though the queue for the station is usually onto the road causing traffic chaos. (personally I would suggestion filling up at the tesco one just round the corner on Richmond Drive - lots more space) but am sure we will find everyone :)
Good news, EADT (East Anglian Daily Times) reporter rang me back.
He has been looking at the website and Twitter feed and asked if we would mind him using a picture to put something in the paper Monday or Tuesday to let people know about it, so those who made Swanage could be stars in East Anglia as well. Will have to get badges made like Dave C.
Will post the route Hudge and I will be taking Tuesday and the meet point to get to Cromer in a seperate thread, I will be passing Norwich airport so if Cunningstunt want to join me reply to the thread when I statrt it.
And finally, Good luck Chad, George, Alex and Ruth it will be a stunning trip - lots of photos
Dave
Dave. He is more than welcome to use any pics.

Gutted, i was going to join you today at Cromer and follow to Southwold. Cleaned the buggy from top to bottom, fuelled it up, got the T shirt and booked the day off 4 weeks ago. Went to work yesterday to find that the only other person with a CPC card had gone off sick so they cancelled my day off and told me i had to work today, to say i wasn't best pleased is an understatement. Missed a great day by the look of it.
hey ho, im in the country... ;-)up
got on the ferry at about one o clock, and sat there wating for it to go.
when it finaly arived straigt off the boat stoped at a morrisons (supermarket & fuel?)
