Hey Muzzy, have you got any pics of these fitted? I have a Predator with the headlights mounted on the wings

(http://i1117.photobucket.com/albums/k599/mm289/Buggy/2013-08-09211504_zps3691b35d.jpg) (http://s1117.photobucket.com/user/mm289/media/Buggy/2013-08-09211504_zps3691b35d.jpg.html)

So am trying to figure out if the opening bonnet will clear these or if I have to relocate them to the bonnet and then have the pedestals on the wing empty?

Cheers,  ;-)up

Paul.

to use that size head lights you will have to mount them on the lifting bonnet, you could put indicators in the old headlight holes

OK, thanks bud, I will have to have a think/look round at some photos.

Want to go with a lifting bonnet for access to electrics and fuel tank to make maintenance easier ideally......  :)

cheers,

Paul.

Google Meyers Manx "Traditional Kick Out Buggy" and download the buggy build instruction manual. Doesn`t have precise dimensions but does show the bonnet, fixings, how to fit etc. Along with hinged back "hatch cover" that is available.  Believe this is the last  buggy version he will do and there are U tube video`s of the original built at quite a cost with I think a Subaru motor.

Kick Out bonnets hinge forwards, the ones that Muzzy sells hinge from the rear (stainless boat hinges work well).

I have one of these opening bonnets from Muzzy. My shell is from Mid Norfolk mouldings and was originally a Powerbug mould. There are two parts to the unit the dash panel that will need to be fibreglassed into your shell.

As my shell is of slightly different design i was surprised how well it fitted.  ;-)up

Here is a photo of my Predator with one of these opening bonnets. Makes access so much easier.
