We are looking at building a lwb buggy but aren't keen on a lot of them. One of the favourites is a lwb storm (I think), anyone know of any shells for sale second hand? On a budget so can't really afford new. I know it might be a big ask being so fussy but if I don't ask il never know!
Cheers!
there a new design so unlikely to be more than 1/2 made yet so s/h very unlikely. by the time you,ve got a rough used one and renovated it with painting its cheaper to buy a new one. also Pete is extremely keen on price.
I know of 3 storm shells, The Orange one that was at Volksworld last year, the blue one the Roo on here was building (not heard from him for a while), and Pete @ Fibrecraft's Red one, which I believe he is looking as selling the complete buggy.
Ah right didn't realise they were new!
Suggest to get yourself up to Stoneleigh in a few weeks, where you can have a closer look at a few different types of shell, and have a good natter with us all too
;-)up
That's a canny trek from here, about 200 miles. That's about 3 days in my beetle! I do have a modern car too though.
I`ll meet you on the way then, its further for me, I`m 18 miles form the Cornish border ::)
Who is this Pete man... lol
If the whole buggy is a cheap project, We could be interested (Im Goldfish's mechanic lol)
If its a show goer though its gonna be out of our price range.

Haha good effort! You going in the buggy? I'm a bit further north, near Newcastle.
A mere short trip then . . .
Groove Champion usually drives down from Glasgow, and our good mate Damien drove over from Switzerland
Newcastle is pretty close to Stoneleigh by comparison
. . . . And yes, we all drove in the Buggies. :D
Of course, come on down in the daily - it will be probably the best opportunity to see many many different buggies from us all and lots of advice from us (though that can be good and bad ;D ;D )
Pete has a old blue one in his yard .......I'm sure if you contact him,he may do you a deal on that one ;-)up
Is pete on here?
Yes
