Anyone know where you can get wind deflectors from to fit a manx style screen ? :-\
just buy some pollycarbonate sheet 6mm and make your own.
Yea was thinking that and using mirror mounts but want them to be able to open and close not sure what I can attach to mirror mounts to achieve this
some kind of ball mounted mirror? but without the mirror park
have a search as to how there fitted on cobras, theres are simple. ( parts at europaspares.com )
Have seen mirror mounts but they are for side mirrors and have threaded holes
Cheers grissley will do

Am sure Ben or Dave dream will be along shortly, they're the chaps to talk to as relatively recently done the same to their Manx screens and are decent top quality jobs.
on the cheaper side Chimp got the bits for the Jas ones, the deflectors are bathroom shelves off e bay at £3 a pair so have polished edges the clamps are proper jobbies from the states with an apprentice made 45 degree fixed mtg only thing is he drilled 8mm holes rather than tap one side for 8mm grub screws as asked for. They make a big difference being close to the screen frame and being a lwb you can get your feet past them easily. if you can get manx clamps then fitting swivel mtgs to them will be possible.

I'm running the Wind wings from B&K. Quality bit of kit, shame they are now unavailable.

All the hard work is in the hinge, which is a beautiful thing

Not sure how much of a difference they make as I out them on before I ever drove it. I'm looking into having the hinges made right now......
Some nice bits of kit there
I dought that glass is laminated, maybe toughened and if it aint a face full of glass when it shatters aint nice, so for me pollycarbonate sheet is much better , indestructable and easy to drill and work.
i baught a pair of side screens for either cobra or healey and got my own plastic cut to my template so got very long wind deflecters, ;-)up
I'm here! ;-)up
Combo of Manx screen clamps with Cobra wind wing hinges and special order glass from Autoglass. Simples :D

Cool dave have you drill and taped a new hole in the manx mirror mounts ?
Yes bud. Only what the bolt was that came with the hinges. M5 fine I think it was.
The hinges stay square because of the 2 holes. The glass is toughened and 4mm.
Depending on what shape of glass you want (unless your going with the perspex option)
I used Autoglass. I made a template, one of their fitters turned up and took it, a few weeks later they brought the finished article back. Got the number if you want it. Local to the area though. Its the special branch of Autoglass who do non standard stuff. Like diggers, boats etc
Did you drill holes in the glass or did autoglass ?
If you ask for it to be done they'll do it. You specify what you want they'll do it.
Dave they look the muts mate ;-)up
Shame you can't get blank clamps without the hole. Would have looked better.
But do the job ;-)up
