my buggy so far was bought as a tub years ago off ebay sat in garage against wall till eventually got off my arse n got a chassis for it courtesy of a 1970 baja bug so already had the big tyres n stuff also just had new floorpans added bonus so baja was stripped n painted the buggy body the only paint i had TARA green mettalic used on old tr7's i think so any hoo here it is at present.

got a couple no much exciting like lol have you posted pics of yours can do with some ideas for dash ect  :P i cant fid a screen so have got some aluminium box section n making a kind of half windscreen thing with perspex to deflect some wind lol also need a roll hoop/cage if anyone got any  ;D

 :D no actually any wiring in buggy yet got a buggy loom n about 2 1/2 beetle looms to butcher up lol will see how gets on lol canna be that hard dont think  ??? FAMOUS LAST WORDS  :'( lights indicators n the engine stuff n thats pretty much it lol i will get round to doing it at somepoint maybe lol when your buggy on rd can bring along get a nosey lol

when its back together for sure! yours is more built than mines though. ive just got a chassis to play with as the shells away at the other end of the garden haha!

wirings the next big job... hopefully the diagrams i made before i took it apart make scense 6 months later

Lol typical eh it sounds a good idea at the time going right ill sort it lol before you know it its been months n your like hmm perhaps should have left it lol well I had mines at least running lol no bad new plugs n leads fired right up lol guy drove the Baja I got into garage where it sat for 10 years before I bought it was thinking yeah sure ya did mate but jumped coil to battery use the old trusty screwdriver across starter first fire boom she running but Didna half blow some crap out exhaust lol well if you need a hand with your buggy I'm bored most nights lol

No it didn't end its life but its used up a few of them  ;)

Its currently being rebuilt.......very slowly.

I will get round to doing a build or rebuild thread at some point

Tell is about it. Been saying I'll get it done for ages but just slowly starting to do it... At least its not been raining for a few weeks so had time to get my finger out!

Yeah I need get rollcage or hoop n need headlights also contemplating diff seats as ones in it fabric ones took out the beetle  n this dundee weather no ideal for roofless goings on

looks fine but as you painted them remember to retorque the bolts after a few miles as the paint under the bolts will come off with use.

its actually brushed lol my compressor gave up the ghost at weekend lol typical so new compressor on cards for weekend  :-[ there goes wages lol typical

gonna get guy who making my hoopy to make me an engine cage can double up as towbar to tow my ski lol prob few weeks time

 >:(wish I did know where everything is lol can never find the socket you need lol yeah garage is bit crowded lol n still have my beetle my Jetski I use regular n my car in drive lol and another beetle in a lock up couple mile fae house lol

Should look pretty good getting towed fae buggy lol towbar on engine cage got a set of mini wheels that like a mini version of buggy wheels so should be cool then boom on eBay lol

Lol nah busy building conservatory lol woman n there big ideas lol but on plus side beetle has moved lol first time in years lol had to get up the side of house lol
