Title: Heat resistant covering/sleeving
Post by: Steve on November 10, 2013, 02:21:08 PM
Not sure if this should be in electrical.

what is the heat resistant covering/sleeving that you run cables/wires through.
I need to run some wires close to the engine, and need to run them through the above type of sleeve. I have seen it, but cant remember what it is or where from.

I suppose you could use flexible shower pipe as it's metal outer cover and it's shiny

ok maybe I was thinking of the wrong stuff, I have seen the type of stuff Im on about in one of the photos posted up today, but cant remember which thread it was on.
its a sleeving for running cables through, maybe not heat resistant.  :-\
its tubular for running the cables through but also looks like it has a flat edge to one side of it  ;D

Steve,

We still need to work out a wiring date buddy.

If you can give me a clue when is best for you we can work around that

its going to have to be next spring-ish now when the weather picks up and its a bit warmer for you, its bloomin freezing in the garage at the moment.
I just realised what the sleeving is for, it got fuel tubing running through it  :-\
