I've been told a couple or buggies go along to this (not sure who) and there's also a couple of Baja's that go - might be worth checking out some time... ;-)up
Same organisation is the the Moat House Alcester B49 5QF ones are now sundays 11.30 until 3pm until 23rd march but there is also a boxing day one 26th same time slot.
The Sunday roast at £6 means I will have to pay a visit and treat Vicky, main course only mind you ;)
Sounds a bit like the old Becketts Farm type of get together.
Hopefully get to one or two
It's been going for a while (I think) I remember going before I'd finished my buggy - there were quite a few cars, mostly the ones we'd seen at Beckett though...
I planned to go back in my buggy sometime but now it's 'finished'/'on the road' I've broken it ::)
First Sunday of the month or something else?
The Black Boy is not on over winter, it moves to where Snoopy said. The couple of buggies that normally go are me and Lee 8)
Been to Black Boy a few times on first Tuesday of month. Worth a visit, variety of vehicles turn up
Good times, I don't work weekends. That means I can come out and play! If any other buggers fancy the trip to the Moat House next weekend? :D

I was gonna go but it's my birthday on the Saturday and I'm away in what is likely to be a proper messy night out in Stockport on Saturday night!!!

Thanks for picking me up! Great to be out in a buggy again, even if my legs froze :D :D :D
Nice to see the Shaggy family came out to play too ;D
Many motors there and any pictures, a red renault 5 turbo wide arch jobby went flying up past here so it may have been over there.
Managed only a couple of pics

Looks closed, the pubs for sale and car parks blocked off
Ah well....carried on to my mom and dads
Oh no. It looked like it was doing so well. Lovely pub that was
thinking about it it looked empty when we went up to the last MBC meet but I had forgotten.
trip advisor says it closed late feb, shame it was a good meeting place with a tasty sunday roast.
Suppose it'll be switching over to the Black Boy at 7.00pm on the first Tuesday of each month.

Well that rules me out then :(
Had a ride out to the Black Boy yesterday as it was the first Tuesday of the month. Haven't been there since last year.
The classic meet has been stopped from going there due to some problems occuring. A chap who popped in his L7 corvette chatted about the buggy and told me that the classic car meet has now moved to
Alcester Rugby Club, Birmingham Road, Kings Coughton B49 5QF on the last Thursday of the month.
Hi Paul you answered the question I was thinking about whilst getting the post up, has the Moat house meet been taken on by another establishment.
The Bennets Farm shop meet got banned as to many posing idiots turned up doing burnouts, racing general showing off in front of the police.
Hi Keith, not sure if it is being organised by the same people or a new group. Was told apparently the are only going to advertise it in classic car magazines to try and stop all and sundry turning up and causing problems
