Recently built nice, traditional VW Beach Buggy, great economical fun motoring.
Body: Jas long wheelbase body shell in french blue gel-coat fibreglass with retro style stripes, body moulded about three years ago (not an old relic dragged out of a field). No hood, it's been a strictly dry weather fun car but any coach or boat trimmer could easily make one if desired. Fully adjustable seats, 4 point rally type harness seat belts. http://www.beachbuggies.co.uk/ (http://www.beachbuggies.co.uk/)
Chassis: 1972 VW Beetle, rebuilt with new floors, new front and rear shock absorbers, new brake shoes, cylinders, pipes and hoses etc.
Engine: VW Beetle 1300 twin port engine with twin choke carburettor and dual cannon exhausts, runs well, good oil pressure etc.
Wheels & Tyres: Classic 'big and little' American slot mag wheels with good tyres.
Legal Stuff: The car has been inspected by DVLA/VOSA and is correctly registered on the V5C/logbook. Engine and chassis numbers match the logbook. The car has just passed its MOT and is tax-exempt. Insurance is cheap, typically in the region of £100 with some of the specialist companies.
The car is on the Wirral, postcode CH61, M53 junction 3 if you want to come and have a look.

A Price might help ??? Nice buggy ;-)up
Sorry, £4250 ono.
Summer Sale...price dropped to £3995-ono
I'll be in the car at Tatton Park/VWNW if anyone wants a look. Price negotiable.
got to ask David....
why ??
you only just built it.
I only really built it to get rid of all the parts that I was sick of falling over. I was going to run it for a year but I've lost my storage space/lock up now and the Manx is out in the open, so its a choice between the two really.
Shame as it drives and handles really well and looks good. Sure, it's not show detailed, it's a good honest (mainly VW) Buggy though and will serve someone well.
it comes to something when you can build a car out of left over bits !!!
saying that.... i think all i need is a chassis and body and i can do the same!
really like dream shacks rails. but can only store one "fun" car. the mrs will kill me if i do anything else !
Still up for grabs, open to offers but no swaps please.
Now on eBay classifieds and Gumtree, £3250-

YEH!!! (About bloody time too!) ;-)up
Hope the new owners will be joining us on here.
(Does that mean we won't have any more shameless plugs trying to sell it? ;D ;D ;D ;) )
I can't believe that took so long to sell.
Well done Dave drinks on you. What's next?

A freshen up of Old Orange, maybe a new dash, steering column support, re-trim the interior etc.
