HAS ANYONE ELSE COME ACROSS THIS PROBLEM, FITTING NEW BUGGY HEADLIGHTS TO A GP SUPER BUGGY BUT CANNOT SEEM TO GET THE CORRECT ELEVATION, ANYONE KNOW THE SOLUTION, MAYBE TAPER WASHER UNDER THE BUCKET???
ANY HELP BEFORE THE MOT IN JUNE WOULD BE APPRICIATED
Hello and welcome to the forum. A quick introduction to yourself and your Buggy would be nice, and a few photos of your problem may help.
Typing in capitals is considered as 'shouting' and is seen as rude by some people, just thought I'd mention it...
Shhhhhh.......... not so loud you'll wake the president up ???
Hi Chap, as David has said stick some piccys up (we likes piccys :D ) then we may be able to give you some ideas what to do.
Cheers H
Oh and welcome ;D
you may find the underside washers are not going up onto the flattish clamping area but fouling on the tapering fibreglass mounting.
and Hello.
welcome aboard :)
Cheers for the welcome.I'll try to be as quiet as my buggy, thanks for the replies I've solved it by making 8)a tapered washer fron hard plastic pipe that fits perfectly over the thread running up to the bucket. This then forces the bucket backwards and allows forward adjustment and all hidden by the chrome mushroom below the bucket, and yes mine came from Stafford Vehicle and well please with the finish for the money, I will post some good piccys when the sun comes out for more that 20 mins. All take care, good forum.
Cheers
