My buggy was running perfectly sorry for. Did a 1:3o round tip next just going up the road engine started knowing ..where do I start looking

Pop the rocker covers off and check in case a nut has come loose on an adjuster or maybe a broken valve spring. Is the oil light coming on on tick over?

Sounds like a tappet or could be a head blow. As David say check the valve clearances.
