i've ordered a windscreen from flatlands but it not wide enough for the car ??
its about two inches to short does anyone know what screen i need ?
How wide's your dash/scuttle? 'Standard' Manx/Sidewinder width is 42 1/4". Usual British buggy, GP etc. is 41 3/4".
What buggy have you got and what does the screen that you've bought measure across the inside/bottom?
i'm not sure what body it is :-\
the screen is a manx one
the width of the bonnet is 46
Photos of the buggy will help, David is ace a identifying them.
46" is VERY wide for a Buggy, is it possibly an Apal? As R/R says, post some pics. Anything that wide will need to be custom made and possibly imported from this guy...http://bugshieldsbydino.com/
or through someone who deals with them (Dino makes 90% of Buggy screens sold in the worls these days, Flatlands, SS&P, Jas etc. all get their screen from them.
going to try and put pics up
cheers for the help
Email them to me if you like,

sending now cheers
It is an Apal, a design originated in Belgium but made in the UK by a few people over the years, Cartune and GT Mouldings for two. I don't think anyone's moulding them at the moment though. I recon you're going to need some smaller front tyres there friend!!! ;-)up

cheers for that sorry to bombard you with e-mails and questions
AL your not going to believe this but I have a brand new screen and frame which is for an Apal...
I had one made for Jim on the old forum for his Apal and two pieces of glass were send from the glass guys in Scotland. So I had the guys who makes up my screens make up a second windscreen at the same time for a just in case moment like this....
The frame is anodised silver, the glass is bonded in place, and correctly BS / E-marked car glass, with proper ground edges.
Yours for £150 if you want it.
Chad
you sir are a life saver ;-)up
