Title: Camshaft query

Are flat or dished camshaft interchangeable as long as you have the correct oil pump.Ive been given a stripped Mexican engine with a flat and dished camshaft just wondering which to use.Cheers.

Interchangeable as far as I know with the matching oil pump they are classified by 3 or 4 bolt

There is more options with the flat 3 revert pre 70 like pumps and cams. wheels etc but you can swap if you got the right pump
