I am starting this for me but if others want to join in with their kit that would be good too. ;-)(-;
I have some VW parts, some of which came off my Sandrail, some of which came with the Sandrail, I'd like to support the charity swap meet (http://www.beachbuggy.info/index.php/topic,10632.0.html in case you missed it) but I am too far away for delivery.
So this is how it works, next post I will stick up some images of the bits I have, make an offer in the thread for some of it or all of it, if others want the same thing feel free to bid it up a bit in the thread ;-)up , dig deep and be generous :).
- You send me (or any other sellers) the cost + P&P - usually £3 for <2kg and £10-15 for over (remember I am on the IOW the big cheap-o couriers don't work down here) I pay for the P&P and send 100% of the sale price to the SDBC for the charity pot.
So come on and make some daft offers, or post your own gear up - it's in aid of a good cause! 8)
my bits, remember all of the sale price goes to an excellent cause!

The cylinders look good and they fit the heads.
That is a really kind and generous thing you are doing here - Thank you ;-)up
We will run this for the month of November (or until stuff runs out)
;-)(-;
Thanks Dave. Hopefully there will be buyers and some more sellers!
Price on pedals please
Hey parmaynu, thats very nearly a buggy project 🤣, good luck with the fund raising👍
Buyers ...
Sorry should have clarified this, in a normal sale I would never put anything up with "offers" - but this isn't a normal sale. We all go to ebay/FB/wherever to check what stuff is selling for so do that, then please make a generous offer, add an extra bit for the hospital fund!
parmaynu, as you buy/refurb/sell these (and a lot of work goes into them too!) you have a good idea of what they are worth to you ;-)up
Ok cool. £40 posted for the pedal parts
That will be just fine - a good start! I'll PM you...
Thanks parmaynu ! £33.51 to the charity pot. ;-)(-;
Still lots left, sure those cylinders would make great lampshades, or something. They are 76.5mm dia. no scores.
Also have a set of chrome and rust cannons
£50 for the speedo + additional £50 for the steering lock\shroud assembly (Is a cheque or cash in recorded post ok ? know you would have to go to the trouble of banking but my Paypal account is currently "locked" for some reason). ;-)(-;
Thanks Paul - that's a generous offer, happy with that. I'll pm you re payment. ;-)up
Thanks Paul! Will get that on it's way shortly and the rest off to the appeal. 8)
Still lots of good stuff left here!

No problem Paul... There is a personal reason I donate as regularly as I can to charities regarding health and the NHS. No rush to post.. Just when you have time. (let me know what the postage comes to and I will cover that) ;-)up ;-)up)
Paul S.
Still some parts left. Ends end of Nov so be quick ! ;-)up
So the virtual swap meet comes to an end - it was a bit lonely, maybe more people will offer parts next time. :-\
But a huge thanks to our purchasers - ;-)up a fair chunk of money raised for a good cause - and heartening to so see the Sunday driver is making great progress :D :D
A huge thanks from both of us for your efforts
It is fair to say that every single penny raised will change the lives of people for the better. Over the last few years, I have been around hospitals far more times than I care to think about, but the Neurological wards are an absolute eye opener. They are usually divided up into quite small wards with a nurses station in the corner to look over them. The people in the beds are covered in tubes and monitoring equipment, but what really gets you is the eerie silence - it hits home very quickly just how poorly these people are.
The better equipped these places are, then the quicker the diagnosis and the better the outcome. So for everyone that has contributed here and helped, be very proud of yourself, as you have not only saved someones life, but you have enabled many to continue to be saved in the future.
:)

Sorry no pistons, wrote the barrel size on there but I can't read my own handwriting - think they are 78.5 but I will check. :)
