Myself and Arron are going to EBI this year in June, we leave on thurs 27th June on the ferry from dover to dunkirk, then looking at a drive down to near Chimay for the night before the show on fri, staying sat and sun night, before the drive back monday 1st July and ferry home,
we have a friend a van also coming along so welcome buggies and any other VW for this great show, either meet you at the the show or cruise down with us, I can let you know details if you wish to book ferris etc

we are starting to put a plan together ,which sailing have you booked on Thursday and we will try and fit in ?
We will be driving from Essex down to Dover of thurs 27th June, catching the ferry at 1200 and then plan to drive to Chimay, We are planning to stay on show ground thurs night,
On the return stay sun night and drive back to Dunkirk catching the 1400 ferry back
Look forward to seeing some more buggies there are you brining yours or the van????

Plan to take the buggy and my son driving the camper ,trying to convince another buggy guy to drive his (he took it 4 years ago) ,also a few guys and some from Brum should be joining us with various VW ,I will try and steer them to the 12.00 crossing.

Met up with Patrick he was offroading in his buggy . Off to IBW Belgian weekend on Friday then on to La Roche / Bastogne for a few days then will be at Chimay / bugin early Thursday morning will try to leave you a space if I can ! Crap wifi on that site so next time I log in will be around the 24th so let me know your numbers and will text you where on site at bugin I am . By the way 1.70 euros a litre for petrol !!! But weather has been great around 28c most days . Safe journey see ya there !!!

Anyone going to Chimay, have a look at a place called Rocroi just over the border in France if you've got time. Very interesting history, fortified walls and all that. ;-)up

Not long now fellas ;D just camped up at la roche / bastogne had an outstanding weekend with the guys at Belgian kit car club . Talk about how to put on show ! The prize giving took an hour . Party games etc and made you feel like one of the family .4 am finishes tho ..ohh my head ! Oh and Patrick was there again .Its his local club its near genk where a few of us went for the buggy weekend a few years back ......... A word of warning about the weather here ........one minute its 28c then torrential rain and seems to be worse when driving to different campsites arnhem to buggy show should have taken 2 hours but took 4 had to keep pulling off motorway . So bring your wet gear !!!
Things have changed this end ,from the weather we will be in my T4 caravelle couple of extra people in the back seeing as one of the splitty drivers has got chicken pox and wont be coming now (maybe cheap cross channel ticket available) ,shame but with no weather gear its not happening .
Looking forward to it 12.00 Thursday ferry from Dover here we come .
