Welcome mate and another potential buggy "up north".

I have a SWB sidewinder and I am 6ft 4ins and cant remember last seeing the scales.  Its snug but I do fit.   The SWB Doon has loads of room in compared with my buggy.    I am not sure if Tony still has his LWB up for sale..... that was a Californian with a  6 pot  Corvair in the back aka a bit of a beast - I am sure he lives either Bolton or Blackburn.  He does not get on here but I am sure I have connected with is son of FB at some point.  Happy to have a look.  Depends on how much you want to spend I guess.   But welcome all the same and hope to see you in a buggy before long.

That does sound quite expensive Krug, but I'd be interested to find out if it's still for sale.

Found an old message from him on ebay so just sent a mesage.  Will do some more digging to see if I have his number somewhere. He was from Bolton I am sure.  Some old pics I have of it ....

I know he changed the lights and indicators but I cant seem to find a more recent pic

When you said it was a bit of a beast, you weren't kidding!

Funnily enough, it's up on FB now, talk about coincidences!

Build a rail and go and upset your old Land Rover mates...;) :D
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him think.
Experience only counts if you have the knowledge to use it.

I know this buggy and what he is asking is low to what it's actually worth I think.
It's a beast but you won't be disappointed, I'm probably biased as I also drive a Californian.
If you do make stoneleigh your welcome to have a sit in mine and if possible I'll even take you for a run in it.
I'm in my buggy,
It's raining,
I really don't care.
