Wow! You absolute star. Thank you. I hope Chad has his drinking boots ready. Will you not be there? Or how about IBW?

I do have my moments.
Let me rummage to see if I have one before we get too excited though :-)

No I won't be at either of those shows I'm afraid. I've stepped away from the "scene" in recent times. It just doesn't have the same feel for me any more.
Trying to refind my interest though. First thing to do is find my buggy. I think it's in my garage ....

I hope you do come back to the scene. What sort of buggy do you have? I'm a newb to the buggy world (albeit that it took me over 30 years to complete my build!) but I have to say, nothing puts a smile on my face like driving my buggy. I'm sure if you get back in yours, you'll rediscover that feeling :D

You're in luck.
I have one in my hand now.
It must have come from the beetle that became my buggy, so I've had it in my stash for at least 10 years. No idea if it works of course, but it's yours if you want it.
If you're in no rush I can get it to chad for him to bring to stoneleigh for you ( if you don't mind chad?) rather than give postman pat any cash.

I've just got a Manx. It's quite well known amoung the old timers on here. I do love driving it, just fell out of love with the scene.

Thank you very much. I can certainly wait until then. I've seen you here on the forum a few times - hope you find the "love" again soon.

Thanks Chad. Much appreciated. Jealous of your Alps trip - skiing? 1st year I've missed in ages.

Yes mate,

Skied for 30 years and my 9 year old lad ski races with the Midland Ski Club - he has bene skiing now for 4 years  ;-)up

Driving down to La Plagne for a few days. Beauty of being in the ski club is that one of the dads has an apartment in La Plagne so we got it for mates rates  :D

Drove down to Morzine a few years back when I had my T5 Caravelle. Regret selling it 7 years ago, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

This year would have been my 30th too but finances wouldn't stretch (Buggy's fault!), much to my two sons' horror. Love La Plagne - went there last year for the third time. Some great runs there. Impressed that your son races so young. I had an enquiry for Zip Buddys from the Midland Ski Club a couple of years ago - nothing came of it though.

No worries. It can sit in my stash a bit longer :-)
