Pair of  wide Centerline wheels in Excellent condition with no pitting at all,  these are rare 4 lug standard VW stud pattern with studs, nuts & hub covers,  please note these are the real deal smooth centerlines and not copies.    Still in my opinion the ultimate buggy wheels!

Fitted to the above are a pair of matching 31x11.50 -15 tyres which are almost as new Dunlop RV radials A/T style tread that have covered less than 100 miles.

Plus one pair of 215x75-15'' matching Dunlop RV's which would make an ideal match for the fronts, these have also covered less than 100 miles,  no scuffing on any of the tyres or the wheels.

I'm outa touch on the price of good wheels & tyres for buggies & trikes, but looking at some of the crap I've just seen advertised on ebay I'd say all of the above has got to be worth around 300 quid?   Quick before Buggy Pete see's em! ;D

PM an email address for pics as I don't know how to.

A bargain then,

Well I thought so Keith, especially when I saw the price folk are asking for those old banded wheels like we had back in the 70's, do they still use those old XJ6 tyres on them?       Those were the daze ;-)up

A kind chap offered to post a few pics up for me so hopefully they will be on here soon.

I'd say they should be worth double that, but I might be biased as I have a set.  :)

Yup that's about it Mat,   kept em long enough thinking someday the interest will return,  but that's just kidding myself, having said that I always thought a bright yellow manx with polished smooth centerlines  8)

Only if you could turn the clock back 20 years for me.      I've just been looking at some old snap shots from 97 and it was in may of that year I first met up with Meyers in France, then again in november for the Baja Manx trip,   I made a promise to myself that year that I WOULD end up buying a manx and look what happened, grey hair & a large bald patch with nothing to show for it.

Even tried to buy Meyers number 4 back then but he wouldn't part with it at the time, then the following year whilst back in Baja sitting next to  Bruce having a meal he whispered in my ear that he had sold number 4 to morrel to fund the siggy run.   That's as close as it ever got for me.      Just build a floorpan buggy Mat, like you planned back in 08 before you too go grey ;D

I know you're right but I'm not ready to give it up yet!

Was it 08? Didn't look too bad either. It's the closest I've got!
