Dave can we have the route and timings re-posted to save us searching and to confirm on the Southern route, it is as you posted.

Only me coming from down here but meeting my Brother in law Tim at Pizza Hut Colchester. If he gets there before me please try not to scare him as he is a fair bit posher than me.

If anyone still wants to meet up how does 1130 at Ropely sound?

Gary do you still want to meet at yours?

Had a text from snoopy last Saturday asking for routes and postcodes on my side of the pond
aka "saussage side"

first meet up point as discussed is the Portland services on the Rijksweg A15, 3161 GP
near barendrecht. The same as the last 2 years.
https://www.google.nl/maps/place/Shell+Portland/@51.8625974,4.4586104,16.5z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x7bef5b5e38dcbbe7!8m2!3d51.8622382!4d4.4632736.

(petrol is about € 1,65 a litre at the motorway service. Harwich ferry gives an opportunity for a cheaper fuel stop in hoek van Holland itself -10 cents a litre ,hull crew will pas a Q8 garage on the A15)

Have a leisurely stop for Coffey. I'll be there from 7:30 and leave about 30 Min after last arrival. +/- 9:00

to not be stuck on the motorway the entire time i'd like to show you a nice part of holland by getting off the A15 motorway at Ochten on to the N 233 towards rhenen and then follow the N 225 for lunch at
De Oude Herbergh Utrechtseweg 245 6862 AK Oosterbeek (pending reservations)

this first leg is 100 km and about 1 ½ hour leaving at +/-12:00.

from there on out a mix of motorway and b roads takes us in to Germany on to a last fuel stop.

its near a supermarket and has a huge car park. Other than that it's nothing special.

A last stop to tart up the buggy's, inflate you're passenger, display you're national pride, and have a sanity check (optional)

Then on to the ibw itself. Auf der urlage 2 glandorf 49219 Glandorf, Duitsland

i've gotten a cb. I need to check if my o2 sim is still alive so you can text me on that number.
I will be running a glimpse group and you can also add me on whatsapp if so inclined.

detailed paper coppy's of the route will be handed out along with some telephone numbers and addresses.
let me know if you need any parts or assistance on this side asap. so i can help.

Ruben,

Route looks good to me, but I have a bit of a concern about fuel stops.

My range (and also some others fully loaded) is only around 160~170Km on a tank of fuel  (100~120 miles)

I`m not sure this route works for me with the fuel stops shown - or at least its unclear

longest run is 124 km, and its all villages and motorway's there's a service every +/- 20 miles. so unless you drink more petrol than the engine you'd be fine
or are you towing an entire brewery?

I know that there are lots of places to get fuel, its just that your route didn`t make complete mention of this at every stop

Is there an intention of fuelling when we stop for lunch - no mention of it ?
