I'm looking to cut my original (69) speedo into my dash but the numbers have gone a bit yellow and it looks a bit manky, does anyone know anywhere that refurbs these or better still can I get a new face and needles and do it myself?

Speedo's are easy to take apart.

There is a thin metal ring around the speedo. You simply need to prise this off and then the needle pulls off and teh face has two little screws to remove it from the mechanism.

I'm pretty sure Dave Fisher at Kingfisher Kustoms has some replacement faces but you could always get creative and do you own mad thing (Look back at the 1990 cal look scene for ideas :D)

Here is one I did for a friend...

Thanks Chad, I will get on to Dave Fisher and see if he's still got some! I don't fancy the custom look!

That one you did looks well cool! Loving the little Doon badge! ;-)up
