Anyone selling a torque bar? I'm after one for my scooby conversion.

Cheers

I'm guessing he wants one of these set-ups...

Ah... anti tramp bars. Your best off buying new as most require welded brackets on the top mounts.

Sorry yeah. Its one of those set ups. Truss bars/torque bars etc. They do have bolt up ones that don't need welding. I just need some extra strength for the chassis forks for the heavier/more power scooby motor. 200 plus seems a lot though. I'll probably end up with a home made version.

I have a bar bolted across the shock top mounts with two tubes down bolted onto the horns but you need a welder to put brackets on.
There may be somebody near you with a welder who can help.

Yeah the welding isn't an issue. You have any pics showing the brackets you have? Does it need to be adjustable at all or just solid?

Goldfish you have 3 emails as my i pad and photobucket refuse to talk without freezing. Dirty ones are the kango 1" crossbar with heavy wall tubus down to angle strip brackets bolted to the rear cradle, clean one is the jas all heavy steel tube but with nuts welded into the bottom of the down tubes so the bolts screwed in can be adjusted for length and tension.

Cheers for the pics snoopy! I need to get on a computer rather than phone to see them a bit better!
