For Sale

1968 VW Beetle Convertible Project (not a Karmann)

Registered as a VW Convertible. Does not mention 'Beetle' on the V5. Tax exempt.

Perfect donor for a beach buggy conversion.

Floorpan will need the battery tray replacing. If converting to a SWB buggy you will probably get away with not replacing it it you are careful with how you cut the chassis.

The body will need heater channels and lower a and b pillars as a minimum. Wings and deck lid are fibreglass.

Had strange hydraulic front suspension set up which can be raised or lowered.

Engine is a 1600. Starts well and idles with no rattles or smoke and no end float. Clutch and handbrake work fine.

Can be seen running and driving here

Will need the said welding, brakes looked at and the lights sorting for an MOT.

The real value in this car is in converting to a beach buggy IMO

Can assist with transporting the car anywhere in the UK

£2250ono
