I've bought myself another lwb shell (cheers Carl)after spending the last year collecting bits for a quick beetle?
I've got an irs pan which unfortunately says saloon. I've read the sticky and a few old posts. I know a std pan will be easier to re-register but don't understand the process, all my other buggies came registered correctly you see.
Do I just send the v5 with a change of details and wait to be inspected? Is this done at vosa as the local dvla place closed. How complete would it need to be?
I know this will have been asked a thousand times just still not clear on the process, sorry.
Will be up to the midland meet in the new year to meet all the locals   ;-)up

Is your start point but makes sure the engine numbers etc match the v5 and change them on the beetle before applying for the build change.
It used to be a quick check the numbers match inspection fot £37 but times change.

Will see you at the MBC one evening
