Just for the update, Wolfrace never made a Magslot wider than 8 1/2 J if you do find any they are not Wolfrace only copies.
The other caution is that a lot of the 8 1/2 J's were mainly sold for American muscle cars that had mega engines and used on drag strips .
So these big wheels were never really good enough for that use as the wheels were made up of a poor alloy ingot machined straight and only polished on the outside and were very prone to having stress cracks between the holes making them dangerous even for a light weight buggy unless you know the history of them but in my opinion they are the most attractive wheels ever fitted to a car.

Wolfrace slotmags were originally American Racing wheels made under license in the UK. Early wheels in both 8 1/2 and 10 x 15 sizes had 'American Racing, Made in England' cast into the inner rim but were made and sold by Wolfrace so can be considered genuine. The centre caps bore Wolfrace stickers. Most were cast by GKN but other foundries were used.

TBH although a lot of people in the UK think that Wolfies were the original slotmag wheel and that all others are Wolfrace copies, that style of wheel was originated in the US in the mid 60s, probably by Ansen and there were 50+ companies making 'Ansen copies' in the US before Wolfies were introduced into the UK. Wolfrace were actually almost the last in a very long list of slotmag copies. There were just a couple other UK makers to introduce this style after Wolfrace, Cobra being the most common.

Slotmags have recently been reintroduced in America by US Mags but only in 8x15 sixe IIRC.

Sure but I prefer Appliance Dish Mags to Wolfies. Wolfies were ruined when they started casting the size, offset etc. into the rim IMHO...ugly!

The Appliances that I should never have let go...
