Thought I'd mention this, but not sure there's enough chrome to be of interest  ;D

Decided somthing has to give.
First up is my sandrail.

Believed to be one of Kingfisher's old competition cars, this thing is a bit of a beast.
Main frame is similar to a race spec fugitive but probably a Kingfisher Commando.
Front end is linkpin, 6inch over width with raised shock towers and big shocks.
Entire back end is bay window IRS, bay torsion tube and 3 rib 1600 box carried by the rear frame. Custom 3x2 trailing arms, bus axles and cvs, bus springplates and hubs. Currently running twin shocks but mounts for a third pair

Monster tyres, 30 x 9.5 bfg mud terrain front.
35 x 12.5 cooper discovery stt rears, all on wide 5 rims

Was on the road until June, but currently sorn'd as I broke the engine.
NO ENGINE INCLUDED IN SALE.
V5 just says vw saloon. Still got the last MOT and tax disc for her.

£900 as she is with no motor.
Possibility of engine options and spares by separate negotiation.

Located in south Devon

Trailer isn't included.
Black fuel tank in pics was just temporary, got a proper round tank that fits in frame but it needs cleaning and sealing.

The older I get, the better I was.

Sorry mate, very tempting but I'm only selling it as I need to raise some cash.
Otherwise I'd keep it, I'd put money on not finding a beast like this for less than £1500 if I was looking  :P

Hi there,  I am very interested in your buggy. Is it still for sale? You mention you have some engine possibilities? Really could do with a usable project, but still interested if no engine available. My email is ssstuarttt@gmail.com ;-)up

Hi Jim,
Do you still have the rail?  I need a change of direction.
Cheers,

Martin
