I've started putting the front end back together on my bucket of bits.
Things were looking good until on closer inspection I notice that one side sat lower than the other also when pressing down on the suspension one gave much more resistance. What could the problem be?
Bearing in mind when I put the torsion springs back in I put them in the same way as I took them out. This does not mean that they were in correctly to start with as I am unsure if the previous owner had removed them at any time as the rest of the front suspension had been removed.
So it looks like strip it down and start again.

It could be an arm tight in the bush, bearing seized or a stiff  ball joint

Some great advice here guys. I'm leaving this bit to my son. It may be a case of replacing it all with thick plate. Luckily he has all the kit to do it at work

not sure how much stuff I've done since I last posted. Si I've got my front beam back n fitted.i will get some pics to add soon as it definitely looks different than the original.
