Thanks Carlos,

Take the measurements anyway you want to, as long as I know how there done I can tell if the cage will fit and look right.

Martin

Hi Martin,

I have taken the measurements you have asked for but have also done some other photo's and measurements that may help.

height from floor to top of screen      95cm
Max width at dashboard      105.5cm
Max width at mid point/roll bar   121cm
horizontal distance front upright to roll bar upright   76cm
horizontal distance from roll bar to rear mounting plate   54cm
horizontal length of central brace tube   72cm

This may help more though as it will give you an idea of the current position.

The best place to take measurements from is the rear hoop as this bolts to the rear of the floorpan. The pic below shows the middle mount point bolting to the floor. From the lip on the rear floor section behind the bolt to the front of the front tube measure 85cm. This is where the front hoop starts.

The front bar then raises 50cm before it bends backwards at the dash, where on mine it follows the angle of the screen. I think these two measurements will give you the best view of how it will fit to your dash / screen. The rear bars from the centre hoop to the back of the rear seat are less relevant as these can be changed easily to lengthen or shorten as these are straight tube. When I changed it from a 5 point to a 6 point I made a new one up myself very easily.

I've checked my buggy and, unfortunately, it won't fit without more modification than is viable.

Thanks for doing the numbers and the photos, I hope that it helps someone else.
Cheers,

Martin
