My name is Ian, aged 50 and have just bought an 80% finished LWB buggy restoration project. This is my first VW product and I know very little about them. No doubt I will be asking questions over the coming months as I try to get the car finished for next spring.
I am used to land rovers so this will be very different.

Hi Ian, welcome to the site!!!

Dont forget to start a build thread when you get a chance - we love photos! Any questions - ask away... Just be aware of the chap on here called Shaggy - he gets quite passionate about Landrovers for some reason!  ;-)up

I am from Nottingham and the buggy I am getting is from a VW fanatic down in Worcester. I will try to sort some photos.
It is my first time on a forum and it is taking a while to get used to it.
Hopefully that will change soon
