Hi, I found this site while researching a buggy type that I rescued this from a friends old quarry in Aboyne. After more than 14 years sitting outside, it a little bit sorry looking. Its (I believe) a mk1 GP LWB still with its skirt on. The tub needs a little TLC (through rose tinted glasses) but the chassis was completely goosed and will require a lot of TLC (through just plain glasses). I!ll post pictures when I can sort out dropbox.

You are well isolated up there but a strange coincidnce is yours is the second quarry find of a lwb GP super buggy Dave Fisher recovered one that was buried in a quarry back in 73 and rebuilt it into Heart of Gold which is an iconic buggy stil going.

Thanks for the replies. The dizzy speed of 1 meg satalite broadband is posing problems for pictures just now but I`ll keep taking them anyway and hope for a break in the clouds.
