As anyone used exhaust bandages. How effective are they at keeping the heat down.

Good for keeping heat down but not good if exhaust is going to get wet as it speeds up the rusting process

Do look cool tho if done right 

can make some makes of exhausts crystalize the metal,and get brittle,
