I'm trying to trace the current owner of the buggy I used to own: NCE 615H.

My Dad and I built it together in the early '80's.

The reason for my enquiry is that my Dad died last October and as a tribute to him I am desperate to rebuild and renovate it and put it back on the road.

The vehicle hasn't been taxed since 1983, the year I sold it, but it's still registered with the DVLA as a Red Volkswagen.

I sold the vehicle to my cousin in 1983 who kept it on his drive under wraps until someone walked past some time during the '90s and asked to buy it. They lived in South Ockenden at the time.

Hoping someone knows something and can help me trace it.

What was your fathers name as that may trigger a few memories on here too 

Did your father ever take it to any shows/meets or gatherings on beaches ?

There are a few on here who might have a few faded photos of such get together.

And YouTube has some archive films of UK buggy's.

It was actually my buggy. My dad and I built it together. We never attended any meets at the time. I'm sure it's around somewhere.
