I'm glad you guys had a good time, did you see the Lancasters? I went to Sywell air show today to see them and they didn't turn up  :'( :'( :'( I'm glad I didn't pay for tickets though as they were £25 each  :o

Hi Rob,

Did we see the Lanc's?

Oh yes........ we were almost level with them as they flew past a couple of times, along with a couple of Spits all from the "Battle of Britain" memorial flight, they were then followed by a DC3 dax (Dakota).  ;-)up  ;-)up  ;-)up  ;-)up  ;-)up

The Red arrows were tiptop and tallyho, an excellent display for their 50th anniversary.

All for the grand cost of a £5 parking fee, the walk from the car was no more than a 100mtrs and the walk to spotless portaloos was 100mtrs in the other direction.  ;-)up

Glad to be part of the banquet, courtesy of Jazzy, Snowy and us and thank you Mr weather person for keeping the rain orf.... 8)

There has been mention of sorting this out as an annual event, its up to you guys if your interested for next year. ::)

Cheers H

it was a great day out. As you said, little expense always good. Pub was an option and just down the road.
Great cruise down through the countryside and back of course.
Excellent position on Beachy Head.

A blast through the Tunnel (both directions)
excellent weather (lucky on that bit I think)

Great day out with great peeps.... Oh there was planes as well, (plus heliflopters)

Worth a return visit next year, hopefully with more peeps......

Thanks to Hunter, Carole and Andy for such a good time.
