Hi,
I have a brand new engine case, OE type. I want to paint it as it will be on show in my rail, but I want to make sure I give it the right treatment. Can I have some advice on the best products to use please?

Thanks

Etch prime and 2K

This case was rough before painting.

Thanks chaps.

Flags - was it the grey acid etch primer of the chromate wash primer (very thin, yellow/green colour)

I see you have painted the heads - how is the 2k standing up to the heat?

Standard grey but only a very thin coat, the black is the cheaper chassis black and I've had no problems with flaking or lifting anywhere.
As you probably know it's all in the prep.
