New tank fits perfectly without any bother..... Why didn't I do this ages ago No need for a modifying the breather at all. Shaweet! Just the fuel sender bolts were off on one of them by a few mm. so i just nuked it with some Hylomar to seal it all up.
Now im just emptying the fuel from one tank into some jerry cans, then I can swap over the fittings at the bottom of the tank...

No more petrol smells! Yahoo! (or at least i hope so when I stick new fuel in it)
