Any one any tips for getting the framehorn bolts out I'm having a bit of a nightmare lol need them out to fit the engine cage but they no want to play lol

You have chocked the wheels, handbrake on and taking the weight of the engine with a jack?

A breaker bar and a long steel tube over the end helps too 

That's what I'm using i even broke out the 3/4 inch sockets n bar lol

if they are solid warming them up or drill a small hole forwards of them and then squirt in penetrating oil so it soaks into the thread.

Cheers I've gave up for tonight lol will see how get on over weekend lol just need get cage on so can see the buggy with the Jetski on tow lol I've sprayed my old Jetski to match buggy lol

Could pop over and lend a hand if you want, im in dundee too. Although I doubt I'd be much use haha! 

Aye you just round corner according to map lol its cool mate I'll get them out might get my mate down he's let's say larger than me lol but more weight behind him lol

Yeah I'm just in the wee housing bit around the corner, according to that wee map. Lol ok no bother.

from past experiance if they dont want to come out they definatly wont go back in without stripping the fine thread.see if you can borrow the correct tap before you start removing em,either that or do what flatlands do drill and tap bolts in situe for m8.n mod the rear cage to suit

soak them with penetrating oil/WD40 for a decent period of time, then either a large breaker bar plus extension or a decent air impact gun.

Typically, I have found them slightly easier to remove than seized castle nuts on the rear axles.

Right got bolts out wee bit heat wd40 and a heavier friend lol so just another question the top fittings for the engine cage?? Can I heat n bend the end bits they just flat n straight with a hole for bolt at end and looks like lining up with shock mounts so can I just heat and bend the ends and bolt using original shock bolts ? Or any pics of other peoples fittings appreciated :-)

Top mounts bolt on to top of shock and then you just bend them in to position. At least that is how I did mine 

Cool was thinking that just thought I'd check before go bending lol
