I have trimmed the rear wings on my Gp to narrow the rear end down a bit, I have trimmed the cutoffs and now want to rejoin it together so it will be a butt joint (edge to edge) what is the besy way to do this???

easier with the shell upside down but you need a few layers of matting underneath to give it strength and a good chamfer/blend in on top with some more then build it up to level.
balsa wood strentheners accross the join under the mat would give it more rigidity and may help prevent cracking in the future.
