[Engine spec,]

A new project is forcing the sale of my Mooneyes buggy, details are as follows,

JAS short wheel base kit based on a 1955 floorpan, so it's tax and MOT exempt.
One off bespoke made 'Mooneyes' graphics on the side pods.
Moon discs plus other Mooneyes accessories.
Flatlands Engineering interior and stainless steel peep mirrors.
Four point 'Willans' 3" black safety harnesses.
Scat quick shifter.
1500 gearbox.
Front beam work includes a full rebuild with new king and kink pins, sway away adjusters and steering arms.
Floor pan and all running gear is in excellent condition.
Soft top and side screens.

Engine spec,
1698cc align bored and fully flowed AS41 type 1 stroker engine with lightend and balanced counterweighted 74mm crankshaft,
Engle 110 camshaft with straight cut cam gears and Scat lifters,
Lightened flywheel and Scat pully have all been dynamically balanced.
Unleaded cylinder heads with stainless valves, bolt up rockers and chromolly pushrods,
Mahle 85.5 pistons and barrels fitted with Teflon buttons,
Deep sump is fitted with external oil filtration system,
Carbs fitted are genuine Dellorto DLRA 40's on thicker manifolds and match ported to the cylinder heads.
Fuel filter king and pressure regulator,
K&N air filters,
Bosch 009 distributor with electronic ignition and 8mm H/T leads,
All new engine tinware has been painted to match the side pods and fitted,
Remote engine breather kit fitted,
The engine cost in excess of £3,000.00 to build.

Good old Ebay....... Buggy sold for the asking price in less than 12 hours !!!!!!!   Garage is looking far too empty, at the moment.......
