what the best way of fixing the bonnet down, mine came with self tappers, but not that great, I was thinking of using these, do they open out sort of thing ?

careful with rivnets they may over pressure and cause stress cracks.

Ive used the ally ones not the steel as they are really soft on other parts of the tub and they pull up pretty easy without much pressure, havent pulled them up to tight when I have used them, just enough to get a grip, so they are not over pressurising the hole.
sorted it over the phone with Car builders solutions about 5 years ago  ..could have been longer knowing me

How did you fix them on ?

Pop riveted them to the bonnet.
