As I have bought one of Muzzy's lifting bonnets for my project, I am selling this GP bonnet with screen if anyone is interested!. It has quite a few layers of paint on it, if you rub it down carefully you might find your matching colour as you go lol. £80 or offers. I will try and get some photo's on here tomorrow

Cheers, Rob

Hi Guys, here is a couple of photo's of the bonnet. I think the screen looks good no cracks, I have just given it a quick wash and it doesn't look like it has any scratches on it. So the screen itself might be a good buy as a spar for someone!

Thanks for looking, Rob

That's a MkI LDV/Ranchero bonnet/screen, very rare, fitted with a very hard to get Austin A40 Countryman rear screen.

"Ah, Beach Buggies, sure, just a quick cheap way of getting a few more years out of a rusty Beetle. You can throw one together in a weekend." anon.

Well spotted David!. I've been reading my books and you are right, it has the curved screen so off the early Ranchero or LDV pick up. I had better realist it, someone might want the curved screen.

Thanks, Rob

I am going to realist this bonnet and screen under EARLY GP RANCHERO/LDV because it appears this has the curved screen. It should still fit the short and long wheelbase GP buggy's though.

Cheers, Rob

A40 rear screen must be rocking horse poo territory, ideal as a spare for early shell owners and if no takers the A40 club folks may well be interested.
