Still kicking myself i didnt buy that shell at the time, just didnt have the funds availale 

You've done an amazing job on it though Phill, its a real beauty. Love some of the touches like the front indicators etc. Any chance of a close up of the bumper mountings? Im just interested. Ive got the exact same bumper (albeit with a lovely pair of period Carello spots) to go on but i really didnt like the mild steel weld on mouting brackets. I just think they let it down. Im having a pair of custom stainless steel brackets cut, drilled and tapped to clamp round the beam tube. I think they will finish it nicely.

Thanks it has been a long time coming.  I will take some photos of the bumper mounts when I am next home in daylight.  They are the original supplied ones but I cut them to move the bumper nearer to the bonnet before welding
  I still need to fettle the front indicators so they sit right!
The wheel is 13.5 inches diameter

Im still finalising my design for my stainless clamps. Like you, i wasnt happy with how far the bumper sat from the body. Im working on my MDF template at the minute to get it just right.

Ive got the same steering wheel, although mine is 15"....too big so its getting changed.

Is it going to be road legal this year or will you wait until next season? If this, then may be we need try and get a meet up before the wind and rains get here proper. Am sure Fran and the other local buggies are up for it!
